Seems like every meeting I attend, or every conversation I have with IPCs or staff, the same question comes up: "How are we doing?" This seems like a logical question and one that everyone who is associated with Morinda desires to know. Today I'd like to answer this question for you.

The simple answer is "We are doing very well!" But I know that a simple response like that doesn't always satisfy everyone's curiosity, so let me dig a bit deeper and help you to really understand where we are. In this update I'm going to speak frankly and openly so you can get a true sense of what we see without any spin or sugar-coating.  In order to give you this information, I need to take you back in time 18 months to November, 2012.

When Kerry, John and the Board of Directors approached me with a request to examine and direct the strategy of the company, a few things were very clear to me. First, we were having an identity crisis. We had lost our true link to our authentic past and were moving away from the things that have historically made us strong. Second, we lacked a powerful, unifying message, and because of that, we lacked a true sense of opportunity. Third, we had gone too far away from our legacy compensation plan and Success Path. Finally, because we had moved from idea to idea and promotion to promotion to promotion, we lacked consistency. This created much frustration. We had no rhythm in our business. 

In the ensuing 6 months we began to address each of these issues. We tried to create great confidence in our IPCs and staff by re-establishing our authentic Morinda and Tahitian Noni images. We helped everyone believe that our history and our story are great assets to our future growth. In fact, every good thing that we are experiencing now is a result of the road we have traveled these past 18 years. Commitment, discovery, investment, accomplishments, vision-all of these things combined have led us to where we are today! 

Additionally, we firmly established a focused message centered on the ability of TNJ and MAX to help everyone live younger, more active lives. Moreover, we introduced a new health concept focused on AGEs. Advanced glycation end-products, or AGEs, are corrosive agents formed in our bodies when excess sugar and protein bond together. At first glance, this doesn't sound terribly crucial, but upon further investigation we learned that AGEs are linked to your biological age. 

We coined the term "TruAge" and introduced the question "What's Your TruAge?" to specifically give life to our focused message. TruAge was born in January, 2013, and has since spread throughout the world. Today, entering TruAge into search engines like Google will net nearly 200,000 responses. This message has unified our company in a way that "noni" or Tahitian Noni did in the very beginning. In fact the parallels are amazing. We started our business by introducing a brand new message, product and idea, Noni/Tahitian Noni, to the world. Our job was to educate the world about noni. Today, in fact, the world knows about noni because of us. Because of Morinda. Think about that. Think about the countless number of successful IPCs, the hundreds of millionaires, the thousands and thousands of people who have gone to Tahiti, Hawaii, Europe and throughout the world! Think of the families who have benefited financially. Think of the millions of lives helped by our products. Sometimes we take this for granted-think what has happened because we had the courage to talk about something that no one had ever heard of.

This is the energy we had as we began the TruAge era of our history. We knew that most people had never heard of AGEs. We accepted the responsibility of educating the world about this important health marker, simply because it is so urgent for the life, health and happiness of every single human being. We established this message and committed ourselves to it absolutely.

During 2013 we traveled the globe, millions of miles in the air, to educate, inspire and partner with our IPC leaders and IPCs. We made a commitment to a device that could actually measure AGEs in the skin, and thus determine a TruAge score for every single person. This technology was cutting edge and we saw the future and committed ourselves to this technology.

During the past year, it has been tough at times because of some unforeseen challenges in the software and hard ware design of the TruAge scanner. Some have even encouraged us to abandon the TruAge Scanner. From our experience building Morinda, we knew that there would be challenges that we need to overcome. In the early days of Morinda, when we had a challenge (and we had many, many challenges), our attitude was simply this:

"Fix the Problem and Build the Business!"

This continues to be our attitude today. You know, it is very good that collectively, the founders of Morinda have had this past experience and seasoning so we do not panic. We do not Panic! We see the opportunity, we fix the problems and we build the business! 

In January, 2014, we had a historic gathering of our most energetic and active leaders in San Diego, California, USA. Those who attended were personally invited by John and myself to attend and participate. During this two-and-a-half day event, we had the most unifying experience we have had in many, many years. Everyone in attendance proclaimed that this was the most important and historic event in Morinda's history.

In San Diego we laid out our strategy in detail. We talked extensively about message, opportunity, system, support, compensation, incentives, products and expansion.

San Diego was our launching point. From there we held Regional Business Summits in every region around the world, driving our plans deeper and deeper into the field. 

In some of our markets, we were able to introduce the first newly developed TruAge products specifically developed to drive the TruAge message: Sugar Stop and Rapid Fuel.

Now, we are entering April and in full engagement across the company. Sales, recruiting and retention are all trending upward, and we can see that this upward trend will not be short-lived, but will become stronger and stronger as we go forward.

In July, we will begin to introduce in the US the flagship product of our TruAge Skin line: AGE Therapy Gel. With this product in place we will have a complete TruAge system available. This was our dream in January 2013 when we introduced the TruAge concept. We began with MAX and Tahitian Noni Juice.. In January we introduced Sugar Stop and Rapid Fuel, and in July, AGE Therapy Gel. A complete system. We call it TruAge Core.

Some have mistakenly viewed Sugar Stop as a weight loss product and Rapid Fuel only for those who are aggressively exercising. Let me explain so you can get the proper vision.

AGEs are made from excess Sugar and protein. When the body accumulates excess sugar, this sugar becomes available to form AGEs. 

Any system that is designed to lower someone's TruAge must address these two simple and IMPORTANT issues: block sugar, and use protein.

Sugar is not good for us, and most humans consume way too much sugar. If you randomly ask someone about sugar they will tell you two things: It is not good for them and they eat too much.  This means that sugar is a universal issue-one that everyone relates to, and everyone is actively trying to find solutions to.

Protein, on the other hand, is vital for the forming of lean muscle tissue. Lean Muscle burns sugar and thus lowers AGEs. Protein is essential for the efficient functioning of all of the organs and systems of the body. We need to consume high quality protein. . . and we need to make sure we can efficiently utilize this protein. 

Protein that is consumed, but that is distracted from its purpose by excess sugar, forms AGEs.  This means that Protein is a universal issue.  One that everyone relates to and everyone is actively address.  Everyone is aware that protein is good and vital for our health, but not everyone knows that protein utilization is even a more important issue. 

Can you see our vision? Sugar Stop contains Phase2 to delay the break-down of starches into sugar.  Rapid Fuel offers a unique delivery system allowing protein to be more easily absorbed by the body for it to contribute to the growth of lean mussle tissues.

With the advent of TruAge AGE Therapy Gel, the system will be complete.  With these 4 CORE product we will address the entire AGE issue.

This is our focus. This was our plan from the beginning and by July, it will be fully in place.

Now it's time to get your fires burning. I want you to do something for me. A simple little exercise: Imagine every CAS participant in our organization catches the vision and adds the TruAge Core products to their CAS. Ponder that idea.

When we talk about conversion, this has been the central part of our strategy from the beginning: A comprehensive, simple and focused 4 product system that addressed every aspect of the AGE issue.  Imagine how this will simplify your business. Imagine how this will increase your volume and your income. Imagine how this will help so many people by getting a true product system into their lives every day.  

I hope that answers the question of "How are we doing?"

Now it's time to get bold. I'm going to go out on a limb here. I predict that we are going to see greater growth in the coming 12 months, leading up to and past ILC next year, than we have seen in the past 8 years. We are on the threshold of a new era of growth. How big is your vision?
